Admission Requirements & Procedures
ICCT welcomes qualified applicants who are ready to begin career-focused technology training. The admissions process is designed to help students select an appropriate program, understand school requirements, complete required documents, and prepare for a successful start.
Applicants seeking career-focused IT training
Applicants may apply to ICCT programs if they meet the school’s admission requirements and are prepared to participate in structured, skills-based technology training.
- Students preparing for entry-level or early-career IT roles
- Career changers seeking practical technology training
- Working professionals who want to update or expand technical skills
- Applicants interested in individual diploma programs or stackable career pathways
Educational eligibility
Applicants must have a high school diploma from a U.S. high school, a foreign high school diploma, or an equivalent credential.
Some programs may also include recommended prerequisites or prior preparation listed on the program page or in the school catalog.
How to Apply
The admissions process helps confirm student eligibility, program fit, documentation, and financial readiness before classes begin.
Admission Requirements
To apply for admission, applicants should be prepared to complete and submit the required school documentation.
- Proof of high school diploma or equivalent credential
- Completed admissions documents
- Information interview with the school
- Signed Enrollment Contract
- Required enrollment deposit and registration fee
- Completed financial arrangements before the start of classes
Information Interview
All applicants must attend an information interview. This conversation helps the school review the applicant’s goals, answer questions about program options, explain expectations, and confirm the next steps in the enrollment process.
The interview may also help determine whether an individual program or a stackable pathway is the better fit for the applicant’s career goals.
Enrollment Contract
All applicants must complete the official Enrollment Contract before starting the program. If the applicant is under 18 years of age, the Enrollment Contract must be signed by a parent or guardian.
The Enrollment Contract includes important information about the selected program, tuition and fees, payment arrangements, cancellation and refund policies, and student responsibilities.
Tuition, fees, and payment planning
Applicants must complete financial arrangements prior to starting classes. Program tuition and fees are stated in the Enrollment Contract and related tuition documents.
Students should review all financial obligations carefully before signing enrollment documents.
Nondiscrimination Policy
Students are considered for admission to ICCT without regard to gender, race, color, national origin, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or marital status.
Denial of Admission
Applicants may be denied admission if they fail to meet the published admission requirements. Applicants denied admission to a program may appeal to the School Director.
Programming Classes Calendar
Students are admitted to fill the capacity of classes, and applications may be accepted throughout the year. To begin at the start of a term, applicants are encouraged to apply in advance of the desired start date.
